2020 Nissan Rogue vs 2020 Nissan Murano

Serving Chattanooga, TN

When the Murano debuted in 2003, it was introduced as Nissan's first-ever crossover SUV. This midsize model was joined a few years later by the Rogue, which is a compact crossover SUV. Numerous updates to their features, performance abilities, and style over the years have contributed to the continued popularity of these vehicles. In addition to size differences, the Rogue is priced noticeably lower than the Murano at the base MSRP level. Are you ready to learn about their other differences?

As is the case with all Nissan models, the Rogue and the Murano are intelligently engineered to produce a combination of confidence and excitement behind the wheel. These vehicles carry front and rear stabilization bars, a rear multi-link and front strut independent suspension system, speed-sensitive power steering, a sport shifter, an XTRONIC continuously variable transmission, and eco and sport modes, and front-wheel drive. The 2020 Rogue is outfitted with a 2.0-liter gas powertrain across all three of its beautiful trims, and this engine gives you 170 horsepower. The Murano's four trims are loaded with a V6, 3.5-liter engine that offers 260 horsepower. The Murano also comes with hill start assist.

The Nissan Rogue and the Murano have many comparable exterior features and style elements, but the Murano is a larger crossover SUV with a sporty, tapered look throughout. The Rogue has a confident presence with a modern feel. These models share a deep side scoop, stunning headlights, and a V-motion grille with a chrome finish. The Rogue has explicitly thick LED headlights and a sharp definition over the lower body's trim on the side doors. This model also has a metallic bar that runs horizontally below the grille. In comparison, the Murano shows off its tapered style with sharp angles through the side windows, the side contouring, and roof. A metallic bar below the grille bends gracefully across the bumper and works its way down the side doors. Shared exterior features in some or all trims for these models include an available panoramic moonroof, a roof spoiler, LED exterior lights, daytime running lights, fog lamps, and more.

The Murano and Rogue both accommodate five passengers with a split-folding rear row, leather or cloth material, and functions for heat and memory in select trims. These popular crossover SUV models also share equipment like SiriusXM tech, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Nissan Connect, voice recognition, a driver's assistance display screen, a door-to-door navigation system, and a few other items. As a higher-level model, the Murano has a larger infotainment system display screen and a few additional features.
