 What's New for the 2023 Nissan Maxima?

The Nissan Maxima is a large sedan with powerful capabilities. The popular model has evolved through eight generations across several decades and provides all of the latest technologies and features that drivers want access to on the road. Going into the 2023 model year, the Maxima is unchanged across its three trims. These trims are the SV, the SR, and the Platinum. All benefit from 300 horsepower produced by a V6, 3.5-liter engine. Accompanying mechanical features are front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission. The mid-level trim also is equipped with a sport suspension and paddle shifters.

The exterior design of the 2023 Nissan Maxima is both bold and powerful. This sports sedan features muscular sculpting across the sides and hood that is moderated by its aerodynamic profile for a sporty look. The chrome-accented, V-motion grille is modestly sized, and it is mounted in a larger, black portal. The foglights are placed in small, triangular ports, and they take their position below the attention-grabbing, LED-enhanced headlights. Select or all Maxima trims for 2023 include automatic wipers, a sunroof, auto high beams, and keyless entry.

The 2023 Nissan Maxima is well-equipped at all trim levels. If you select the base SV, your Maxima will have standard equipment like a keyless ignition, leather upholstery, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a dual-zone climate management system, remote vehicle monitoring, wireless internet connectivity, satellite radio, frontal collision mitigation, a blind-spot detector, adaptive cruise control, and others. The Maxima's higher trims add driver's side memory settings, a heated steering wheel, a Bose premium audio system, front and rear parking sensors, upgraded upholstery, and heated front and rear seats.
