The midsize Pathfinder SUV has been a solid pick among Chattanooga shoppers who expect functionality and excellent capabilities in their vehicle. The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder was masterfully improved with next-generation changes. These continue to be displayed for the 2023 model year, and the Rock Creek trim level will debut. The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek has exterior and performance updates that make it trail-ready. The exterior has a modest lift, a roof rack, all-terrain tires, and 18-inch wheels. The Rock Creek also has an off-road suspension system and all-wheel drive. All of the Pathfinder’s trims for 2023 have a 3.5-liter V6 engine. The standard output for most trims is 284 horsepower, but the Rock Creek trim delivers slightly more power behind the wheel.

Except for the exterior improvements offered in the all-new Rock Creek trim, the exterior of the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder is unchanged. The large, flat-bottom grille is accented with a thick chrome bar. The LED headlights have an innovative, stacked design on the grille's sides. As a three-row vehicle, the Pathfinder’s roof is almost level to ensure headroom across all rows. The side panels have prominent black molding with added definition on the lower doors.

Inside, the Pathfinder is distinctive, with an expansive center stack and a long center console. The metal-outlined stack features an elevated display screen, the premium sound system controls, and a multi-zone climate control system interface. The Rock Creek trim stands apart with its simulated leather material, accompanied by cloth inserts. The Rock Creek also has all of the SL trim level features. This includes heated front and rear seats, wireless phone charging, a power liftgate, USB ports, an integrated navigation system, a surround-view camera, and sunshades in the second row.
