In 2023, the popular Nissan Pathfinder's trim level options grew with the launch of the Rock Creek trim. The Rock Creek is a rugged trim with design upgrades and off-road capabilities. In 2024, the Pathfinder and its Rock Creek trim level are unchanged.
The Nissan Pathfinder is a mid-size, three-row SUV. The design was refreshed in 2023, and the 2024 model year retains the modern, boxy look. The front-end styling is distinguished by a sharp-cornered, V-motion grille accented by a thick chrome bar. The standout headlights show off an LED bar with a slightly detached upper LED accent. The Rock Creek trim level is differentiated from other trim levels with its all-terrain tires and upgraded roof rack, bumpers, and wheels. It also comes with 18-inch wheels and LED fog lamps.
The Pathfinder Rock Creek also stands apart from the other 2024 trim levels with its raised and off-road-tuned suspension system. It also features all-wheel drive. The Rock Creek can deliver an extra 11 horsepower with premium fuel on top of the standard engine's capabilities. The engine is a 3.5-liter V6 unit with a standard output of 284 horsepower. The Pathfinder's towing capacity is 6,000 pounds.
The 2024 Rock Creek trim level comes with all of the features in the lower Pathfinder trim levels, and it adds synthetic leather upholstery with orange contrast stitching, heated seats in the first two rows, second-row captain's chairs, a surround-view camera and front and rear parking sensors. The features available in the Rock Creek and lower trim levels are blind-spot intervention, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, heated front seats, lane-keeping assistance, heated outside mirrors, remote start, a six-speaker sound system, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot system, rear auto braking, a three-zone climate system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an 8-inch touch display screen and a push-button engine starter.
