In 2025, the impressive Nissan Murano introduces bold improvements with the launch of its fourth generation. This two-row, midsize crossover SUV boasts updates to its interior and exterior styling, its engineering, and its robust range of features. The model continues to be available with the same three trim levels, and these are the SV, SL, and Platinum. So, what can you expect from the mid-level Murano SL?

The remarkable design of the updated 2025 Murano is athletically tapered with a modified liftgate spoiler and an arched layout for the side windows. The sides are personalized by lightly defined haunches and a sharp accent across the lower door panels. The nose is styled with a tall hood and a curved front end. The slender LED headlights have a slit-like quality and are set back from the grille. The grille takes a modern spin on the traditional V-motion design that Nissan is known for. It has a stack of thin, chrome crossbars and holds the Nissan logo.

The SL and all other 2025 Murano trims are equipped with a turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This engine is accompanied by a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. It generates 241 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.

Inside, the Murano's dashboard is both modern and elegant with a layered, multi-tone design and integrated display screens. These are the digital instrument panel and the 12.3-inch central display screen for the infotainment system. The SL comes with all of the features offered in the base SV trim, and it adds enhanced adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, Google Maps, a 10-speaker Bose sound system, sound deadening, a panoramic sunroof, and driver's memory functions. The features it shares with the SV are wireless phone charging, a wireless connection for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, heated front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, forward collision avoidance, rear auto braking, parking sensors, a blind-spot monitor, lane keeping, and more.
