The 2018 Nissan Leaf is expected to be revealed in about a month but some new information is being released. There will be a few aerodynamic improvements in the 2018 Leaf, starting with the shape of the car. Nissan says the shape of the car was designed with the profile of an airplane wing in mind. This provides a more symmetrical flow that reduces drag which in turn extends its range.
Powertrain specifications have yet to be released for the 2018 Nissan Leaf, but it's being said that there will be a larger lithium-ion battery and offer up to a 60 kWh pack. The new Leaf will also introduce its own version of e-Pedal one-foot driving technology which allows you to speed up, slow down and brake with just the accelerator pedal. It will also offer ProPilot semi-autonomous operating capabilities, which has been confirmed by Nissan.
The 2018 Nissan Leaf is set to premiere on September 5th.
