When it comes to sales in the US market in 2016, Nissan definitely did it right. Driving into January of 2017, Nissan’s division set two records: one for all time sales, and the other for sales in December.

According to nissannews.com, the record-breaking number for the year was 1,426,130 units, and 134,545 for the month of December. Records were also set amongst crossovers, SUVs, and trucks individually and as a whole. Together, trucks, SUVs and crossovers set an all-time record with 668,948 units sold this year. The Nissan Rogue was the top-selling model after 329,904 were sold, and the Pathfinder set a December record of 9,368 sold units.

With their safety, reliability, performance, fuel-economy, and overall cool-factor, it’s no wonder so many people have decided to make their new car a Nissan. If you want to do the same and are interested in any models in our inventory, contact us on our website!
