Don't allow yourself to be stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire. Here are some tips from Nissan of Chattanooga East that will allow you to change that tire out quickly and safely.

Just a reminder, you should always pay attention to where you've parked your vehicle. Don't attempt to change a flat tire on uneven or unsafe terrain.

• Remove your wheel cover, and loosen all of the lug nuts that are holding your flat tire to the automobile.
• Use your jack to raise your vehicle up off the ground.
• Remove the lug nuts all the way, and remove the flat tire as well.
• Install the spare tire that you have on the fitting, and put the lug nuts back on.
• After you lower the vehicle down, make sure all the lug nuts are tightened properly before you drive away.
