2021 Nissan Armada vs 2020 Nissan Armada

Serving Chattanooga, TN

The Armada is the largest SUV in Nissan’s lineup, and its solid capabilities will undoubtedly keep up with your active lifestyle. This three-row SUV introduced its second generation in 2017. In addition to being boldly restyled at that time, the Nissan Armada has more recently been modernized throughout the exterior and revamped with fresh features for the 2021 model year. By comparing the 2020 and 2021 versions of the Nissan Armada, you can see the many improvements that have been made.

Performance

The Armada is offered in the same four trim levels for 2020 and 2021. All trims for both model years are equipped with a 5.6-liter V8 system that produces 400 horsepower. It is combined with rear-wheel drive and seven-speed auto transmission. All-wheel drive is available. Higher trim levels add an integrated trailer brake and trailer sway damping.

Appearance

Both the front and rear of the Armada have been restyled across the front and rear, but a side view reveals no changes to the Armada’s broad dimensions and smooth surfaces. On the nose, the 2021 Armada continues to have a V-motion grille design, but it has a refreshed mesh design and is wider overall. The headlights are sharply angled to complement the grille’s shape. At the rear, you will find that the 2021 version has more definition through the bumper. It also has large, reshaped taillights and a sporty spoiler.

Features

The 2021 Nissan Armada adds a few features that are unavailable or optional in the 2020 version. For example, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen is mounted in the 2021 Armada’s redesigned dashboard. In addition, assistive safety aids become standard for the 2021 model year. These include front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision mitigation, rear cross-traffic alert with auto braking, and lane departure warning.
