2023 Nissan Frontier SV vs 2023 Nissan Frontier PRO-X

Serving Chattanooga, TN

The midsize Nissan Frontier is a capable, well-equipped truck that can deliver everything you need from your vehicle. In 2023, it continues to be available in three trim levels: the S, the SV, and the PRO-X. While the base Frontier trim level is outfitted with great features, you may be interested in a higher trim level with more advanced features and capabilities. How do the 2023 Frontier SV and PRO-X trims compare?

Performance

All of the 2023 Frontier trucks draw 310 horsepower from a 3.8-liter V6 engine. They all also have a nine-speed auto transmission and rear-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is offered as an upgrade. The Frontier PRO-X has stronger capabilities with standard features like a locking rear differential, extra skid plates, and Bilstein shock absorbers. A test drive at Nissan of Chattanooga East is a convenient way to appreciate these features' differences on the road fully.

Appearance

All 2023 Frontier trucks are remarkably styled to make a commanding impression on Chattanooga-area roads. The look includes extensive, rigid definition over the sides and black molding around the wheel wells. The nose has a large skid plate outlined by molding, rectangular foglights, and a wide grille. The headlights also have a rectangular shape with upper and lower LED bars. The SV trim has 17-inch wheels and options like under-rail lighting, a spray-in liner, a trailer hitch, tie-down cleats, and heated mirrors. The PRO-X adds dark wheels and all-terrain tires.

Features

The 2023 Frontier is well-designed, with a solid safety and cabin features selection. In fact, all Frontier trims have an 8-inch touch display screen or larger, forward collision mitigation, auto braking, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and others. The SV adds a power-adjusting driver's seat and options like two household power outlets, a dual-zone climate control system, a heated steering wheel, a keyless engine starter, a Fender audio system, a sunroof, and synthetic leather upholstery. The PRO-X adds a 9-inch touch display screen and a wireless Apple CarPlay connection. Options for the PRO-X trim include wireless device charging, a 360-degree camera, and leather seats.
