2023 Nissan Pathfinder vs 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek

Serving Chattanooga, TN

The Nissan Pathfinder has a solid and well-deserved reputation for incorporating style and technology with premium engineering. In 2023, the Pathfinder steps off the beaten path by introducing the Rock Creek trim level. This trail-inspired option sits close to the top of the current trim lineup. How does the Rock Creek compare to the Pathfinder’s other trims?

Performance

The new Pathfinder Rock Creek is the only trim with all-wheel drive. The others have front-wheel drive with AWD offered optionally. The Rock Creek’s enhanced capabilities are also brought to life through all-terrain tires, an off-road suspension system, and a lift. All trims have a 3.5-liter V6 gas engine. Most trims draw 284 horsepower from this system, but this bumps up to 295 horsepower for the Rock Creek trim.

Appearance

The Pathfinder Rock Creek also stands apart from the other trims with a few exterior enhancements. Specifically, it has a special grille design, LED foglights, and a tubular roof rack. Across all trims, the 2023 Pathfinder has a V-Motion grille, a front skid plate, and prominent molding on the side panels. The headlights have a layered look with a slightly detached upper section for added definition.

Features

The primary difference inside the cabin between the Rock Creek and other Pathfinder trims is the simulated leather seats and cloth inserts. All trims have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, three rows of seats, a three-zone climate control system, a push-button starter, rear auto braking, a blind-spot monitor, and lane departure warning. Select higher trims may also come with remote start, heated front and second-row seats, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, a hands-free liftgate, ambient interior lighting, a household power outlet, a Bose sound system, and more.
