Performance
For 2023, the Platinum trim level has been deleted. The remaining trims are the S, SV, SR, SL, and SR VC-Turbo. The performance capabilities of these trims have not changed. Most trims are outfitted with a 188-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine and a CVT. The top trim draws 236 horsepower from its turbo 2.0-liter engine. Both the first and last trims have front-wheel drive. The SV, SR, and SL have front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. Select trims come with paddle shifters.
Appearance
For 2023, the front of the Nissan Altima has a fresh, contemporary look. It shows off a tall, smooth hood with side accents that taper inward. This definition draws attention to the long, angled LED headlights. A strong LED light ribbon adds personality to the interior point of these headlights. The headlights directly connect with a large, black grille that drops effortlessly through the bumper. Powerful, triangular air vents also define the front end. Exterior features are unchanged. Depending on the trim selected, the Altima may have up to 19-inch wheels, foglights, a sunroof, heated sign mirrors with turning signals, and other items.
Features
In 2023, the SL and SR VC-Turbo trims now have a 12.3-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay. Options for these trims now include a wireless hotspot and a wireless charging pad. The other features hold steady across all trims. Some or all trims may offer a Bose premium sound system, a heated steering wheel, an auto climate control system, a 360-degree camera, cloth or leather seats, NissanConnect, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, satellite radio, USB ports, keyless entry, a push-button engine starter, and other exciting features.
