2023 Nissan Frontier vs 2022 Nissan Frontier

Serving Chattanooga, TN

The Nissan Frontier is the midsize truck that delivers the power and functionality you want. This popular model's third generation came online in 2022 with bumper-to-bumper improvements. Because it is fresh off of a major update, the 2023 Frontier displays no significant updates. Our Nissan of Chattanooga East sales reps are eager to help you discover what owning the Frontier may be like.

Performance

The 2022 and 2023 Frontier trucks have three trims, two body styles, and two-bed lengths. They all are engineered with a 310-horsepower, V6, 3.8-liter powertrain system. In addition to a nine-speed auto transmission, the trims are offered with standard rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. If you purchase the top-of-the-line Pro-4X trim, your truck's performance will be boosted by a locking rear differential, Bilstein shock absorbers, and extra skid plates.

Appearance

The revamped exterior of the 2022 Nissan Frontier is unchanged going into the 2023 model year. This truck model has an engaging, confident presence with long, flat surfaces across its profile and a strong front-end design. The wide grille flows into a rounded point on the sides. It touches the rectangular headlights accented on the top and bottom by an LED light bar. The foglights are directly below the headlights and have a long, slender look. The wheel wells are slightly squared off on the sides, and the fenders are prominently molded. In addition, a thick accent bar flows across the lower door panels. Select or all trims have painted wheels, all-terrain tires, a sunroof, heated side mirrors, a trailer hitch, under-rail bed lighting, tie-down cleats, and a spray-in liner.

Features

The available features across the trim options for 2022 and 2023 are identical. The Frontier's base-level cabin and safety features include a six-speaker sound system, forward collision mitigation, a push-button engine starter, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a touch display screen, and cloth upholstery. The higher trims add a power-adjusting driver's seat, two household power outlets, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, keyless entry, a two-zone climate control system, simulated leather or true leather upholstery, a Fender sound system, a wireless charging pad, a surround-view camera, and several additional assistive technologies.

With exciting differences between the Frontier's trim levels, it makes sense to get better acquainted with this model's features in person. You are invited to explore our available inventory soon at Nissan of Chattanooga East.
