2024 Nissan Sentra S vs 2024 Nissan Sentra SR

Serving Chattanooga, TN

The 2024 Nissan Sentra is a well-appointed compact sedan that introduces several features and a refreshed design. Its three trims are the S, SV, and SR. There are significant differences between each of these trim levels. A great starting point for comparing the options is a deeper look at the base S and top-of-the-line SR trim.

Performance

In 2024, the Nissan Sentra’s mechanical components were modestly fine-tuned to slightly improve fuel efficiency. All trim levels are available with a 149-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine. The Sentra has front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission. The SR stands apart from the S trim level with its rear disc brakes.

Appearance

The updated Sentra is undeniably sporty, with a tapered shape and a forward-leaning stance. The angled accents over the lower door panels and rear haunches add to the athletic design. On the nose, the 2024 Sentra has a drop-down, wide V-motion grille with tall air intakes set on the outer flanks. The standout LED headlights are impressively slender and angled. The S trim level is outfitted with wheel covers and 16-inch steel wheels. The SR adds a dark grille, 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, a power sunroof, and heated side mirrors.

Features

The 2024 Sentra S delivers modern technologies and comfort features to enjoy on the road. These include a four-speaker sound system, remote keyless entry, a push-button ignition, a 7-inch touch display screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, rear auto braking, a lane departure warning, a blind-spot warning, and a forward collision warning with auto braking. The Sentra SR builds on the S’s features with NissanConnect, synthetic leather upholstery, a Bose audio system with eight speakers, a surround-view parking camera, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, remote engine start, dual-zone auto climate control system, leather upholstery, and additional features.
