2025 Nissan Sentra vs 2025 Nissan Altima

Serving Chattanooga, TN

Over the last several decades, drivers have been drawn to the Nissan Sentra and the Nissan Altima. These cars have evolved impressively over the years, elevating their appeal consistently. How do the compact 2025 Sentra and the midsize 2025 Altima compare in key areas?

Performance

The 2025 Nissan Sentra is offered in three trim levels: the S, SV, and SR. Across the lineup, the Sentra is outfitted with a 149-horsepower, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This system features front-wheel drive and a continuously variable auto transmission. The SV and SR add rear disc brakes. In comparison, the 2025 Altima's four trim levels are the S, SV, SR, and SL. All come with a 188-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. It also has a CVT and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional for the top three trim levels. The Altima SR adds a sports suspension system and paddle shifters.

Appearance

The 2025 Sentra has a sporty look, forward-leaning stance, and sleek profile. The swooping hood has a bold definition on the sides. It arches downward into a black grille that flares upward to the dramatically angled LED headlights. Across the sides, you will find crisp lower-panel definitions and additional definitions over the fenders. The 2025 Altima, on the other hand, is a larger model with a rolling profile and strongly defined haunches. The grille has a similar shape to the Sentra's grille, but it has a wide, layered mesh pattern and chrome accents on the sides. These accents bend upward to support the large, pointed LED headlights. The Altima's lower air vents also point inward for an athletic touch.

Features

Depending on the trim that you select, the Sentra is offered with a power sunroof, a surround-view parking camera, a wireless internet hotspot, a heated steering wheel, a Bose sound system, synthetic leather, heated front seats, a dual-zone auto climate control system, adaptive cruise control, hands-free keyless entry, a 7-inch driver's display screen, and an 8-inch infotainment system screen. The Altima has many of these features: leather upholstery, a 360-degree camera, a navigation system, rear auto braking, NissanConnect, a wireless charging pad, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, a driver attention warning, and more.
