2026 Nissan Kicks vs 2025 Nissan Kicks

Serving Chattanooga, TN

The Nissan Kicks launched its second generation in 2025, featuring bold improvements throughout. With those substantial updates, the 2026 Kicks is unchanged. This sporty, subcompact crossover SUV is the smallest option in the Nissan SUV lineup, and it packs a bold punch with its styling and smart combination of features.

Performance

The Nissan Kicks is available in three trim levels: S, SV, and SR. All three options are designed with agility in mind, creating a fun driving experience. They are equipped with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gas engine. This system, which is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission, produces 140 horsepower and 141 foot-pounds of torque. Every trim level comes standard with front-wheel drive and is available with all-wheel drive as an optional upgrade.

Appearance

The design of the Nissan Kicks is decidedly modern and athletic. The model stands tall to ensure ample room across its two rows, and the roof features a slightly arched design for added aerodynamic appeal. The roof is available with a two-tone color scheme, fading into a strongly raked rear. The sides are expressive with sculpted contouring and thick molding across the lower portion of the doors. Molding also rounds over the wheels to enhance the flared fenders. The curved nose features a rectangular element that accommodates the wide grille and integrated headlights. Both the grille and LED headlights have a layered look. Exterior features offered with the Nissan Kicks are up to 19-inch aluminum wheels, rain-sensing wipers, heated side mirrors, and keyless entry.

Features

The Kicks S is well-equipped with rear automatic braking, a 7-inch touchscreen display, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, a four-speaker sound system, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, and a blind-spot warning system. The mid-level SV trim adds heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, wireless smartphone app connectivity, remote start, and upgraded upholstery. The SR builds on the SV’s features with synthetic leather upholstery, a surround-view camera, an enhanced sound system, blind-spot intervention, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, lane-centering, a Bose sound system, and a heated steering wheel.
